Most of us are using aftermarket powerlocks. The EG civic did not came with a powerlock switch unfortunately. Problem about this especially for Eg hatch is that the lock tabs get broken due to the repeative force of locking and unlocking. Here's a low cost solution to this problem. Materials: Speaker wire 1 meter long = 10 petot Universal push button switch = 50 petot (or free kung may ma salvage kang lumang alarm) Generic Super glue = 10 petot You can actually convert the switch panel cover to a switch. Just cur the tabs at the back that holds it and put the push button switch at the back. Connect the speaker wire to the switch. Then connect the other end to the aftermarket power lock control module. This is usually installed near the fusebox under the dash board. Connect one end to the brown wire and the other to the white wire. Violah! OEM look powerlock switch! push the button and the doors will unlock. Push it again and the doors will lock. No more hard to pull lock tabs if your hands are greasy... ;D
